Terms of Service
The rules for using Bashee — fair use, child-safety expectations, and how accounts are managed.
1. Who can use Bashee
Bashee is built for children, parents, teachers, and connected school staff. Children must have parental consent (verified through the in-app age-verification flow) before using the service.
2. Fair use
You agree not to misuse the platform: no harassment, no illegal content, no attempts to bypass safety or moderation systems, and no automated scraping outside our published APIs.
3. Account responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Parents and school admins are responsible for the accounts they create or manage.
4. Safety and moderation
Messages and posts are subject to automated safety scanning and human moderation. Critical safety signals may be escalated to trusted contacts or, where required by law, the relevant authorities.
5. Changes to the service
We may add, change or remove features. Material changes will be announced in-app and will require renewed consent where the law or these terms require it.
6. Ending an account
You can request account deletion at any time from Settings. We retain a minimal record only where law requires (for example, safety incident logs).
